Share Your Files With Other Coaches on Staff

Let your other coaches have access to your drawings by mapping your files to a shared drive or shared network server.

Shared Drive/Network Examples

  • Google Drive. DropBox
  • Online Team/School Shared Network

Note: Coaches who access the files in the shared drive do not need to have PQD

How to Share Access if you're using a Shared Online Drive (Google, Dropbox)

  1. Ensure you're logged into to your Shared Drive locally on your machine
  2. Where does your Master Library live? Put this library folder into your shared drive. Don't want to share the whole Library? Remove the folders you don't wish to give access to.
  3. Find your new Master Library location in the shared folder and Right Click  > select Invite / Give access to > add the email addresses you want to have access to the library folder.

Caution: The file path cannot begin with a specific user's name.

4.    Open Visio or PowerPoint to connect everyone's library to the shared folder.

5.    Go to the Home Tab in Pro Quick Draw and click Settings (Wrench Icon).

6.    Click the 3 dots to the right of your Master Library Folder Location.

7.    Select the folder in the File Explorer that contains your shared playbook.

8.    Click 'OK' in the Settings Menu and your Master Library folder will be linked to your Shared Drive.

How to Share Access if you're Using a Shared Network Server

Note: SharePoint & OneDrive Not Applicable to the following instructions

  1. Where on the Network do you want your Coaches' sharable drawings to live?
  2. Ensure all Coaches have access to this Shared Network location.
  3. Begin moving your folders/files into the new Shared Network location.

Caution: The file path of the Shared Network cannot begin with a specific user's name.

4.    Open Visio or PowerPoint to connect everyone's library to the Shared Network location.

5.    Go to the Home Tab in Pro Quick Draw and click Settings (Wrench Icon).

6.    Click the 3 dots to the right of your Master Library Folder Location.

7.    Select the folder in the File Explorer that contains your Shared Network location.

8.    Click 'OK' in the Settings Menu and your Master Library folder will be linked to your Shared Network location.
