The play Editor Tool will assist you in building custom routes and formations from pre-made shapes. Using your current folder structure, create new files then add the shapes for quick assembly
Note: The Play Editor is a feature included in all Pro Quick Draw proper packages. You must have Version 4.3.9 or higher. You can either update by clicking "New Version Available" in your toolbar, or visit our Customer Portal and download Pro Quick Draw (will replace old version).
Shapes Offered
Shapes are stored in PowerPoint files. As a part of the Play Editor Tool, we provide the following Shape files:
- Blocks
- Defensive Shapes
- Dropback – Handoffs
- Equipment
- Routes
- Shades
- Splits
- Stock Lines
Get Started with the Play Editor (Shapes)
Shapes are individual objects such as a line (receiver routes, lineman movements), text box, or any objects not a part of a drawing.
Managing the Shape Library
- Open the Play Editor Settings by selecting the gear icon in the top right corner of the Play Editor Menu.
- Click on the Manage Drawing Libraries Section to add a file into the Drawing Library.
Add a File to the Library
- Click the Add Drawing Library button
- Click the small square with the three dots. That will open the Select Files window
- Click Open > Click OK in the Add Drawing Library window
- Click OK in the Play Editor Settings Window
- Search your folders for the desired file
Play Editor Drawings will reload, and your file will now be shown in your library
Removing a File from the Library
- Select the file(s) to be removed
- Click the Remove Selected button > click 'OK'
Adding a Shape to a Drawing
- Select the drawing or area where you would like the shape to be.
- Select the shape from your library
- Click 'Add'
You have the option to flip shapes horizontally or vertically.
Add a Single Shape to Multiple Drawings
- Hold the CTRL key (Command key on a Mac)
- Select the drawings where you would like the shape to be placed.
