      Installing Pro Quick Draw for a Staff

      If you have multiple licenses under one account, you have one set of credentials for the staff

      Step 1: Login to Account Portal

      • Once the account owner has established their email and password credentials, login to the Account Portal by using them on the new machine and select the "Downloads" tab at the top right.

      If needed click My Account to ensure you have available licenses 

      Step 2: Download Pro Quick Draw

      • Click "Download Pro Quick Draw"

      Alternate Option: Drop the proquickdraw.exe file from the first computer onto a team server that everyone can access from there

       

      *** If you do this make sure to update this file frequently so you have the latest version. Best practice is to always go to the portal to download Pro Quick Draw.

      Step 3: Install Pro Quick Draw

       

      Make sure the following are not running on your machine: PowerPoint, Visio, Catapult Thunder, DVSport

       

      Thunder & DVSport run a background process of PPT which can prevent PQD from fully installing.

      • In the Downloads folder of your PC, select ‘ProQuickDraw.exe’ and install the software

      ⚠️ If your team network or anti-virus software is blocking downloads, please contact your IT solutions or school administrator. 

      Step 4: Activate Your License

      1. After successfully downloading PQD, open Microsoft Powerpoint or Visio
      2. Open a Blank Presentation (or a Blank Drawing in Visio)
      3. On the Home tab, select the Licensing Button (wrench icon)

      4.  Enter the username and password of the account owner in the customer portal

      • Select Activate and now your machine should be licensed with Pro Quick Draw
